Photoset of a Fabulous Dinner at Drai’s on the Rooftop of the W Hotel in Hollywood

Click here to check out the pictures taken during our dinner last night at Drai’s, the rooftop restaurant club at the W Hotel in Hollywood. (No, you don’t have to have a Facebook account to view them.)

Executive Chef Patrick Florendo, of Botero Restaurant in Las Vegas, is now helming the Über chic location and is in the process of upgrading the menu.

Fortunately, we were given a chance to sample some of the food items that were on the menu and others that may be on there in the future.

100_1616 Personally, I could have eaten the Kobe beef tartare amuse bouche you see at the top of this post all night long.  Then we had the phenomenal chateaubriand you see to the right and that just changed the dinner to something absolutely memorable.

If Chef Florendo is in the process of upgrading the menu I can only imagine things can only get better. If you have the opportunity to check out this eatery, I strongly recommend you do. That's if you can get past the red velvet ropes.

Oh, tell them you heard about the restaurant from Queer In My Soup ..... then duck.
