GUMMIX: Make Your Own Gummi Bugs!!

Here’s something your kids might be bugging you for Christmas.  Japanese company Megahouse believes bugs aren’t just cute Pixar films or Asian delicacies: they can be candy, too!  Yay! 

Their GUMMIX kit contains the special gelatin powder and insect molds to freak out your family and/or your local health inspector. Just mix the gelatin with fruit syrup, ketchup or soy sauce (no, seriously), depending on what you’re trying to achieve and then pour the mixture into the molds. When the jelly starts to harden, attach the limbs with the included tweezers, and there you have it, an edible bug.
