.... but it was definitely nuttier.

According to the LA Examiner, Louisville, Colorado pastry chef Nicole Hedlund and her sympathizers gathered on the streets in support of what she calls the "real fruitcake", which was essentially an effort to change people’s perceptions of the maligned seasonal confection.

I actually LOVE fruit cakes.  Then again, the one’s I’ve had were laced with more rum than 1/2 the Senate.  Nevertheless, I’m all for fruit cake empowerment, edible or otherwise.

While you’re still trying to figure out what faux-pizzas have to do with blended fruits, Jamba Juice is giving away (again!) FREE flatbreads between 11A and 2pm tomorrow, Tuesday, December 15th.  I guess you guys didn’t get the message the first time around (which was only a few weeks ago), so they’re at it one more time.  Great for us, boo hoo for their shareholders.
