GANJA GOURMET: America’s First Marijuana Restaurant

50987477-09173810

Apparently, a brand new restaurant in downtown Denver, Colorado claims it is the first of its kind -anywhere. Ganja Gourmet serves food laced with marijuana: brownies, lasagna, gourmet pizza, jambalaya, paella, even chocolate mousse and cheesecakes.

And it's legal.

But, they don’t serve just anyone.  "Do you have your medical marijuana card, that's the first thing we would ask," said Steve Horowitz of Ganja Gourmet.

However, food laced with marijuana doesn't come cheap. In fact, the prices are rather high. A brownie is $10. A dozen lemon meringue tartlets cost $120.

No word yet on whether or not they’ll be having happy hour specials starting at 5:00PM or at 4:20.

BEHOLD: The Edvard Munch Pancake

"More syrup!!"
(Via The Pancake Project)

Newly created blog, The Pancake Project, is dedicated to pancake art and had this to say about the creation you see above:

“Its a pancake. I made this. There is nothing drawn on it. It is just pancake batter and timing. This is how it looked when I flipped it … Special thanks to Edvard Munch for the artistic inspiration and for having the name Munch.”
Carbs never looked so artistically delectable.
