.... but it was definitely nuttier.

According to the LA Examiner, Louisville, Colorado pastry chef Nicole Hedlund and her sympathizers gathered on the streets in support of what she calls the "real fruitcake", which was essentially an effort to change people’s perceptions of the maligned seasonal confection.

I actually LOVE fruit cakes.  Then again, the one’s I’ve had were laced with more rum than 1/2 the Senate.  Nevertheless, I’m all for fruit cake empowerment, edible or otherwise.
